Slightly larger than the state of Arkansas (USA), Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity.  Possessing the greatest altitude variation on earth, from 60 meters to 8,848 meters (Mount Everest) amidst a width of 80 to 193 kilometers, this is a land of amazing extremes. Its latitude is about the same as that of Florida (USA), yet within this limited area and bounds, it enjoys all the climatic conditions found on earth: from sub tropical jungles of the Terai to the temperate and arctic conditions of Himalayan highlands.  These remarkable differences in climatic conditions are primarily related to the enormous range of altitude within a short north-south distance.  As the altitude varies from place to place the fauna and flora change as well. In the same way the races, the ethnic communities, their culture, tradition and use of languages varies.

If you trek for a month in Nepal you can virtually experience many natural geo-physical, zoological and meteorological characteristics of the earth. Imagine a safari in a tropical forest, or rafting in fresh wild rivers or mountaineering to heights of 8848 meters. Or if you wish for less arduous natural experiences you can observe new species of birds and butterflies or find trips to sights of ancient cave civilizations.

The Great Himalayan Range of 800 kilometers lies within the Nepal Himalayas. It has a convergence of 1310 magnificent peaks over 6,000 meters, including 8 of the world's highest 14 peaks, 8000 meters and above. It extends over 2,400 km as a vast south-facing area between the Indus and Brahmaputtra Rivers with Nanga Parbat (8,125m) and Namcha Barwa (7,755m) as its terminal high point.

The lush terrace farmland and paddy fields and crystal clear rivers and breathtaking mountains make Nepal a truly rewarding holiday destination. In addition the holy temples and shrines and the ancient and secret culture offers a transformational life experience.
