BUILDING: WILDERNESS TREKS

Trekking:

The main recreational pursuit that attracts travelers to Bhutan is Trekking. Northern Bhutan and even some sub tropical parts of south offer great scope for trekking. Dense forests, hills, mountains, and high altitude pastures make up most of the country and some of these remote areas are even now only accessible on foot or horse back. Trekking in Bhutan is for real adventures as they can experience the kingdom at its most magnificent.  From the towering snow peaks of the Himalaya to the verdant forests which clock the hills above its peaceful valleys, the trails are clean, and unspoiled, and the wilderness still pristine in its beauty. Following are some of the most popular trekking programs in Bhutan which can be customized on request

  • Snowman Trek
  • Bumthang Cultural Trek
  • Chomolhari trek
  • Druk Path Trek
  • Dagala Thousand lakes trek
